Spun Iron 12" (30cm) Frying Pan

Mark, the iron spinner at this family owned foundry, expertly hand makes unique 99.1% pure iron frying pans that are half the weight of cast equivalents, whilst still distributing heat evenly with no hotspots. A well seasoned spun iron pan will fry virtually "fat free" for exceptionally healthy cooking and is suitable for range stoves, electric, gas, ceramic, halogen and induction hobs.

The handle is fashioned from air dried English Oak from a forest near the foundry, which is riveted to the pan with solid brass to create a beautiful, special gift for milestone birthday or anniversary.

The pans come pre-seasoned with flax oil that provides a natural non-stick finish suitable for high temperature frying and searing, whilst removable handle covers enable the pan to be used in the oven or under the grill.

Spun iron is simple to re-cycle, however, we believe that if you care for your pan it will become a family heirloom that you will wish to pass on to the next generation.
